This is a character I sculpted in my spare time. It began as a speed sculpt that quickly became an exercise in texturing and rendering. I found it really helpful to go through the entire 3D pipeline. It started with ZSpheres in ZBrush and ended up in Maya where I used VRay to render. I saw this character as an opportunity to explore visual storytelling and really portrait a character’s personality. Additionally, I wanted to create a character that had exaggerated proportions while being rendered in a physically accurate and realistic way.
